Nov 04, 2021 MetriNote – Microsoft Delivers Viva Employee Experience Platform
What’s the news?
Nov. 2, 2021 – At its Ignite annual conference, and following from the February 2021 introduction, Microsoft announced general availability of its Viva employee experience platform, along with a slew of new features and partner integrations for each of the four modules within the platform, a centralized management dashboard for IT admins, and an annual subscription plan. The Viva platform comprises Connections, for building culture and sharing company information; Insights, for measuring productivity and improving wellbeing; Topics, for content and knowledge management services; and Learning, for skills development and growth. The Insights, Topics, and Insights are part of Viva Suite, priced monthly at $9 per user. Enterprises that have Microsoft 365 and Office 365 licenses now get Viva Connections, and some components of Insights and Learning, as part of those packages. A fifth module, for objectives and key results (OKR) management, will be coming next year, Microsoft also announced at Ignite. Toward that end, Microsoft last month acquired OKR management provider Ally.io.
