April 20, 2021 – Talkdesk announced deeper integration with Zoom Phone to improve customer experience. The move provides a more seamless experience between Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). A back-office integration improves call routing and eliminates the need to switch between the telephony and contact center applications. For example, agents can click to access presence status of experts within the company to help resolve customer issues more quickly. The integration brings Zoom UCaaS applications, including calling, directory and presence, to the Talkdesk CCaaS solution.
