Four providers earned the Metrigy MetriStar Top Provider Award for Fraud Prevention. The MetriStar Award’s value is that it is based on both customer ratings and quantitative metrics correlating the use of providers’ services with measurable business success.

Fraud Prevention: Fraud prevention helps to secure the contact center platform and associated customer engagement applications from a variety of attacks or crimes, including robocalls, toll or financial fraud, hacked PBXs, spoofing, social engineering, distributed denial of service, and unregistered agents. Fraud-prevention products and services include, but are not limited to spam filters, biometrics, voice captcha, session border controllers (SBCs), voice intrusion protection, and reputation reporting. Customers can buy software, software-as-a-service, and increasingly, services delivered from network service providers that prevent fraudulent calls from even reaching the contact center. Some providers in the MetriCast offer fraud prevention through partners, and they may also offer other communications services.
