8×8 Introduces AI Studio

What's the news?

On April 14, 2026, 8x8 introduced 8x8 AI Studio, a platform for enabling organizations to create custom agents that leverage 8x8’s underlying communications and customer experience capabilities. The AI Studio uses natural language-based agent creation without the need for custom coding or complex flow-based workflow automations. AI Studio is available in an early-stage preview for agent building and testing at no additional cost to current 8x8 customers. Production-use fees are based on consumption. AI Studio supports 8x8’s own large language models (LLMs), as well as third-party models.
