What's the news?
On June 23, 2026, Anthropic announced Claude Tag, an AI agent that lives within chat apps. Tag allows customers to bring an agent directly into their chat channels and tag it for notifications and follow-up, much as they would do with their human colleagues. Once tagged, Claude will gather context and carry out appropriate follow-on actions. Initially Tag is available within Slack for Claude Enterprise and Team plan customers, with other messaging apps and platforms to follow.
