What's the news?
On Aug. 25, 2026, Crescendo launched the AI-native Crescendo Customer Experience Platform (CXP), integrating contact center software, ticketing, workforce management, quality assurance, customer feedback metrics, and knowledge repositories into one system. Rather than adding AI as a secondary feature onto legacy architectures, Crescendo built this platform from the ground up to utilize specialized AI agents that execute core customer service roles. An underlying layer called the Agentic Foundation enables these agents to orchestrate workflows, integrate with backend systems, and test modifications against simulated traffic. These specialized agents are:
- Concierge – Interacts with customers through chat, email, messaging, and voice, resolving inquiries autonomously and transitioning complex issues to human representatives with the full context intact
- Agent Assist – Offers real-time guidance to human specialists during live calls, sending evaluations as cohesive decision packets
- Applied Insights – Evaluates customer dialogues and outcomes to explain fluctuations in performance metrics
- Quality – Automatically grades all customer conversations for compliance, empathy, and accuracy
- Workforce – Schedules human staff and forecasts interaction volume
The base platform, available today, includes standard enterprise security controls, compliance features, and APIs.
