MetriNote – HP|Poly Delivers New Room Video Conferencing Solutions

May 30, 2024 – HP|Poly has introduced a number of new products and features designed for flexible large meeting room designs, improved support for Microsoft Teams Rooms, and simplified meeting room control. Announced products include:

• Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus – a Microsoft Teams Rooms system combining a Poly TC10 room controller with an HP Mini IP PC G9 for in-room compute; list price is $2,699 with availability coming this July
• Poly Studio G62 – a modular video conferencing system designed for larger spaces with support for multiple cameras and microphones; list price is $1,999 with availability coming in June

In addition, Poly announced an upcoming software update to Poly VideoOS that will allow TC8 and TC10 room controllers to manage lighting and displays, eliminating the need for a separate room system controller. HP|Poly also announced that its Poly Lens device management service now integrates with Zoom Device Management to enable Zoom Rooms managers to see device information directly from within the Zoom administration console.
