July 22, 2025 – Intrado Life & Safety has announced an AI-powered voice-to-text translation and transcription capability for public safety answering points (PSAPs) and emergency call centers (ECCs). The capabilities, available now, support more than 40 languages and allow emergency operators to converse in real time with callers in their native languages, eliminating language barriers that can negatively impact emergency response.
