October 31, 2024 – RingCentral announced that its AI Assistant is now included in its RingEX unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) employee engagement suite at no additional cost. AI Assistant is a generative AI feature that summarizes calls, provides composition assistance for texts and chats, and summarizes meetings held within the RingCentral app. It also provides post-meeting action items to meeting attendees, reducing the need for in-meeting note taking.
