MetriNote – Salesforce Adds CRM for Small Businesses with Complex Needs

March 12, 2024 – Salesforce has introduced Pro Suite, an all-in-one, AI-enabled CRM offering for small businesses that expands on the capabilities of Starter Suite. With Starter Suite, launched in August 2023, Salesforce provides guided onboarding, reporting templates, pre-built dashboards, and built-in AI with the aim of enabling small businesses day-one usefulness from their CRM. Pro Suite serves those small businesses that have been using Starter Suite but now need additional capabilities or that have complex business processes to address from the get-go. Powered by the company’s AI platform—Einstein 1 Platform—and Data Cloud, the new suite includes advanced features and allows for more customization than does Starter Suite. This includes the ability to build customized workflows and automations, sales forecasting and quoting, and live chat for customer service. Pro Suite is now generally available, priced at $100 per user per month. (Starter Suite costs $25 per user per month.)
