What's the news?

On April 28, 2026, Otter.ai announced the launch of Conversational Knowledge Engine, a platform designed to allow organizations to leverage data stored in meeting notes and transcripts, across all meeting apps. As part this announcement, Otter.ai is delivering a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to allow other customer AI platforms to access data stored within Otter.

Additionally, the company is delivering new chat and desktop applications that function as MCP clients, allowing Otter.ai’s virtual assistant to access external data available via MCP servers provided by other business applications. The Otter platform delivers a longitudinal knowledge graph, enabling organizations to uncover conversational insights and track decision-making context. Conversational Knowledge Engine features, and the new chat and desktop apps, are available now for existing account holders.
