On July 8, 2026, Vonage announced Vonage Protection Suite for Okta, bringing advanced network API-based security capabilities to Okta’s enterprise authentication suite. The Vonage suite allows Okta users to send one-time passwords (OTP) while leveraging the Vonage Verify Network API to ensure recipient identity. The Vonage Protection Suite includes multiple protection layers, including checking OTP recipient numbers against mobile operator databases, validating number format, and optional blocking of SMS attacks. Vonage Protection Suite for Okta is available now and is billed on a usage-based basis.
